Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), located in Europe (London region). Access is restricted to your account only — other users cannot access your data.
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Your Anthropic API key is stored as a secure server-side secret and is never exposed to the client application.
The web version of DayBrain can connect to your Google Calendar to display events and sync tasks. This requires your explicit permission via Google's OAuth consent flow. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings.
The Android app does not access Google Calendar.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
DayBrain is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
